Description
Enrotrim 10% (Oral) is a highly potent, broad-spectrum veterinary antibiotic solution primarily used to treat severe respiratory and digestive bacterial infections in poultry, birds, and livestock.
Key Characteristics:
- The Formula: It features a powerful, synergistic combination of two active ingredients—Enrofloxacin (10%) and Trimethoprim (5%). Together, they block bacterial DNA replication and nutrient absorption, making it highly effective against strains that have developed resistance to other single antibiotics.
- Primary Uses: It is most commonly used in poultry (chickens, broilers, turkeys) and other livestock to fight Mycoplasmosis (CRD), infectious coryza, fowl cholera, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, and necrotic enteritis.
- Administration: It is a liquid concentrate designed for oral administration, mixed directly into drinking water or milk replacer. Because it absorbs rapidly, it achieves quick therapeutic levels in the animal’s system.
- Critical Restriction: It is strictly forbidden for laying hens or cows whose eggs or milk are intended for human consumption.
